All places for Bolton children are commissioned by the local authority. These may follow a permanent exclusion or alternatively may follow a referral to the local authority panel.
The panel sits every term and considers requests for Forwards Centre places for the following term. Following the panel, the local authority will approach the Forwards Centre in order to commission a place. In the majority of cases, these places are fixed term, the child is dual registered and returns to the school following the placement.

Autumn panel – Wed 28th Nov 18 (Papers submitted by 19th Nov 18)
Spring Panel – Thursday 14th March 19 (Papers submitted by 4th March 18
Summer panel – Thursday 27th June 19 (Papers submitted by 17th June 19)
All referrals should be on via an Early Help Assessment and should be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org
