Safeguarding at Lever Park

Lever Park Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  Your child’s safety and wellbeing is at the centre of everything we do at Lever Park. Your child is encouraged to make safe choices supported by the behaviour policy and taught about health and wellbeing, relationships, living in the wider world economic wellbeing, careers and the world of work through the curriculum. In addition to this, your child has access to a fully qualified counsellor in school

Should you have any concerns about your child’s safety or wellbeing please do not hesitate to contact his/her form teacher or learning mentor.  You may also contact Danielle France, Deputy Head and Safeguarding lead on 01204 332666 or email franced@boltonimpacttrrust.org.uk should you require any further information or advice.

Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies, when there are concerns about a child’s welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about our pupils are discussed with parents/carers first, unless we have reason to believe that such a move would be contrary to the child’s welfare.
